Cool cloud.... hole. Can fire in higher altitude burn a circle in the cloudy sky? |
Jeebus, dude. When I came here last few weeks ago, it was fog & mist. This time, controlled burning nearby or something. I was still coughing little bit later that evening. Holy smokes.
Today, I wanted to try out this Crimson Trace green laser. I had never shot with laser before & I thought it was going to make precision shooting easier & more accurate. Negative. Movement of laser actually distracted me, both my handgun shooting mechanics & laser were shaky.
Been reading that green laser was more visible in daylight. It was on the money at 20+ yards, but I couldn't find it at 25+ yards? I doubt that the laser couldn't reach just another 5 yards or so, so I'm thinking maybe it's more to do with keeping the laser point on target at 25+ yards? Not sure, I'll try it again next time. Install & operation was easy & solid. For now, just some pictures of how this model looks on Gen 4 Glock:
These paddles reaching rear to the trigger guard, they are for on/off. Good design & easy to use.
I quickly went to the iron sights & practiced shooting Glock 19 more. I made no progress in that department I'm afraid. I finally decided to focus on 15 yard shooting from now on. After I achieve something resembling "accuracy" at 15 yards, I'll get out to 25. Right now, I barely keep the shots on 12" square at 15. :(
I am more accurate with this .22 pistol. Ruger SR22. I practiced with this after I was done with the Glock.
I didn't bring anymore handguns, so I plinked little bit with my AR & called it a day. Like Ice Cube said, "it was a good day", except for the annoying smoke. *cough cough*
Found the culprit on the way down. It was on the other side of the mountain, but I'm sure it was controlled burn for whatever reason. :(
