This pains me especially, because I recently ran into couple of defective magazines from GunMagWarehouse online & their review system only took my 5 star review & denied the 1 star review for the defective factory Remington mags. I was thinking how great & fair Amazon reviews are. Never encountered rigged bias reviews like that on Amazon..... until I just ran into it the other day:
Some (un)lucky reviewers were able to get the warnings out. What kills me is how they continue to advertise "Made in the U.S.A." not once, but twice in the description, even after numerous input from the shoppers that this knife is Made in China:
This is what you'll receive:
They blocked my review challenging their Made in USA claim, I also reported to them using "report incorrect product information" link, but no change. March 21st, the product page still promises the Spyderco knife purchasers that the knife is Made in the U.S.A.
I did "@" Amazon when I tweeted:
https://t.co/d4B6lE3u3l @amazon blocked my review warning other members of this bait&switch scam. There's nothing wrong with Chinese goods, it's just that some of us have greater trust in American products & wishes to support the workers. Please fix. #MadeinUSA #MadeinChina pic.twitter.com/NvrE0bIXY5— a6m5 (@a6m5zero) March 16, 2019
Their response:
Thanks for reaching out to us with your concern. I've submitted feedback about the incorrect product details for this knife. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. ^GM— Amazon Help (@AmazonHelp) March 16, 2019
Finally, this is the rejected review:
I thought Amazon was better than this. Scam, incompetence, or both! :(
