I like almost anything that inspires "survival". Built-in compartment in this UBR stock reminds me of survival rifle stocks. However, that's not what had me drooling over this Magpul stock. It was while I was shopping for sling parts, this pic caught my eye on Google:
I had those compartment doors removed right away. :D
My first AR(.308) came with Magpul MOE stock. I liked it a lot. Maybe only downside was no QD socket:

And my first AR-15(M&P Sport II). Never liked this stock. As soon as I got the rifle, I ordered set of Magpul furniture for it. This is what it looked like stock:
Here's the same rifle with Magpul everything, including CTR stock. CTR's nearly identical to the MOE. Two added features I didn't see on the MOE were the friction lock(prevents wobble) & QD socket.

So finally, here's before:
After UBR:
I like the look of this stock a lot. It's heavier, but they seem to extend longer than CTR. Unlike other stock's I've put on or taken off, this stock will require some basic tools + AR wrench. I just had a $20 cheapie from Botach, but it worked fine. Key with the installation's YouTube. How-to & intallation videos on there helps me so much with this stuff.
Update:
fucking badass looking
